WatchOdyssey ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.
We collect the following information when you use WatchOdyssey:
WatchOdyssey requests access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to upload photos of your watches and set your profile picture. We do not access your camera or photos without your explicit action.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Public journeys and profiles are visible to other WatchOdyssey users based on your privacy settings. You control which journeys and information are public or private through your account settings.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password storage, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account directly within the app at any time through your profile settings. Upon deletion, your personal information (name, email address, profile photo) will be permanently deleted. Your watch ownership history and journal entries will be anonymized and preserved as part of each watch's journey record, maintaining the historical provenance of the timepiece.

You may delete your account and associated personal data at any time directly within the app. To do so, go to the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom of the account options, and tap "DELETE ACCOUNT." After confirming, your account is permanently and immediately deleted — this cannot be undone.
Upon deletion, your personal information (name, email address, profile photo) is permanently removed. Watch ownership history and journal entries you contributed are retained in anonymized form, attributed to "Deleted User," in order to preserve the provenance record for current and future owners of each timepiece.

WatchOdyssey may use third-party services for analytics and cloud storage. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them independently.
WatchOdyssey allows users to post journal entries, photos, and other content. Users are responsible for the content they post. We prohibit objectionable content including harassment, hate speech, and illegal content or images.
Users may report objectionable content or block other users using the in-app tools available on every profile and journal entry. We review all reports and take action within 24 hours, including removing content and suspending accounts where necessary.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the date above. Continued use of WatchOdyssey after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
